Durabrand DVD player

Speaking of Durabrand DVD player, the emphasis is placed on its two generously sized screens, very helpful when the passengers have distinct opinions on spending time when traveled.

Durabrand DVD player is not an ordinary one, thanks to its dual LCD screen. This feature is extremely convenient while using two different operations during a trip: Playstation for one passenger and a video movie for another one. The two sized 6.2 inch screens are operated from one central player.

Here are a few of the available Durabrand versions (models have the same characteristics, only the screens differ):

  • PVS177W / PVS1770 (7" TFT LCD screen)
  • PVS176W / PVS1760 (6.5" TFT LCD screen)
  • PVS167W / PVS1670 (7" TFT LCD screen)
  • PVS166W / PVS1665 (6.5" TFT LCD screen).
PVS 1960 is the most popular model; its price is from 200 to 250 $. Its special features include: multifunction remote control, playback of CD/JPG-CD/MP3-CD/DVD-Video, Dolby Digital, three stereo headphone jacks, A/V inputs for game consoles and other video devices, 2 DIN cables, AC adapter and Car DC adapter, 2 straps to secure screens to the back of car seat head rest, A/V cable for hooking to TV, carrying bag.

The good points of Durabrand DVD players are:

  1. dual screen system; the displays are little aluminum-cased, both with on / off switch, headphone jack, volume control and well-performing speakers built in
  2. the setup is very simple; no surprises appear, after setting up it really works as designed
  3. the quality of the monitors is good.
The weak points are:
  1. an internal battery is missing. By default, you can plug into the cigarette lighter
  2. the sound quality is rather bad, but almost all consumers already have headphones for a better hearing
  3. not too long cables which might be less workable in a minivan.
