The good points are:
- perfect picture: high clarity and colors. The screen has been designed to fit movies recorded for standard 4:3 TV format
- digital picture zoom which allows you to magnify a specific frame either by freezing on the entire screen, or by keeping it in a corner while watching the movie as usual
- multiple angle selection
- easily recharged battery
- 10" screen in certain models is a plus
- "remember" button for an exact spot in a movie, very helpful in case you wish to remove the disk and play it later.
The weak points are:
- even when the cord is turned the right way, the power may cut off, apparently because a tiny connector in the player is plugged into a large power connector
- there might be a problem with the 7" screen, as only the person sitting in front of it is able to see well; those in the back, on the left or right don't get a proper view
- some consumers have complained about involuntary resets
- there is only a 3-months warranty, compared with other warranties, of least one year; within the rest of the first year of usage, Cyberhome covers only parts of the portable player.
